Strutture tassonomiche e linguaggi specialistici in ambito biomedico

The work presented in this book is the result of the research done during the XXV PhD cycle in bibliographic, archival and documentary science and for the preservation and restoration of library and archives at the University of Udine and at the Lister Hill Center for Biomedical Communications, based at the National Library of Medicine, Bethesda MD (USA). The motivation for this study stems from the fact that the scientific community has finally recognized the importance of terminology and the need for their standardization and interoperability.
