A new family placement for the genus Colomboscia Vandel, 1972, with a description of a new species (Crustacea, Oniscidea, Scleropactidae)

The systematic position of the genus Colomboscia Vandel, 1972 is discussed. This genus, originally placed in the family Bathytropicae, is here transferred to the family Scleropactidae, near Scleropactes Budde.Lund, 1885. A redescription of the type-species Colomboscia cordillierae Vandel, 1972 and a description of the new species C. bituberculata, both from Colombia, are given.
