The Virtual 3D Reconstruction of the East Pediment of the Temple of Zeus at Olympia

Books come in all forms and shapes these days. The book reviewed here is a very good example of what we can produce these days by integrating different technologies. It is delivered on a DVD and contains plenty of material concerning the story of the Zeus Temple at Olympia (Greece) and in particular its east pediment, including the results of previous reconstruction studies, and focusing on the results of a major three-dimensional (3D) digitization effort.
