Human resources in concurrent engineering: the case of Fiat Auto

The research reported in this article, co-ordinated by the WZB Institute of Berlin, examines organisational, technological ann human resource practices that enhance qualify in product development by improving communication and cooperation between the actors. In this context it was found that, although the importance of HR policies was recognised, implementation remained low.
