Abstract:
Some classical spectral distances are taken into account and the relative importance for speech segmentation is considered.
Parallelly we describe our attempt to model the frequency domain representation of speech stimuli in accordance with the usually followed psychophisical approach, to justify our proposal to introduce this knowledge for the use of more realistic psychophisical spectral distances in speech stimuli comparison.
