Abstract:
The parliamentary tradition in Sardinia is based on the Catalan custom of holding parliaments, although they have powers and a reduced effectiveness on the island. Despite this undeniable Catalonian and Aragon legal footprint of Sardinian parliaments, they have certain nuances that give them a personality. Our focus is on further knowledge of the internal workings of representative assemblies and municipal dynamics that are forged around these meetings. The relationship between these two areas allows us to analyze both common and diverse elements between the Sardinian reality and the Catalan one.
