Un quaderno di spese della filiale parigina dei Gallerani (1306-1308)

The book-keeping notebook, here published, registers the expenses of the Parisian branch of the Sienese Gallerani company of the for the juridical and administrative acts and activities relating to debt claiming, and for the travels of the estate agents visiting the villages and small towns of the Île-de-France to notify such acts from July 1, 1306 to August 31, 1308. It offers, therefore, a rich lexical documentation, especially in the juridical field, documenting many loans relative to the legal action, in great part not certified by the historical and ethimological lexicography, and in various cases registered in the French lexicons with late examples. The linguistic notes and the glossary will follow in the next volume of this review, and some of its entries -believed to be particularly significant and not otherwise present in the Gallerani documents- are here anticipated in the introduction.
