Computer assisted film dosimetry: three dimensional dose planning

Complex treatments planning can be checked and verified by assuming the radiogram has the function of a dose detector and then by using an hardware/software integrated system for the acquisition and three dimensional reconstruction. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the advantages of using the image processing system SIRAD for film dosimetric control in Radiotherapy.
