Further high molecular weight polyacetylenes from the sponge Petrosia ficiformis

TWO further high molecular weight polyacetylenes have been isolated from the sponge Petrosiafisifwmis. One of these new compounds, (5), shows a C,, straight chain and four hydroxyl groups; the second, isolated as the methyl ester (7), is a C4, straight chain enynoic acid.
