Research on African Medicinal Plants. V. Coumarins from Zanthoxylum usambarense (engl) Kokwaro

Five coumarins, toddaculin, 1, pellopterin, 3, pimpinellin, 4, toddalolactone, 5, and a new natural coumarin. O-methylcedrolopsin, 2, were isolated from the roots of Zanthoxylum usamabarense (engl.) Kokwaro, a plant widely used in traditional medicine in East Africa.
