Abstract:
A simple and compact form is given to dielectric tensor and ,,local
emission temperature)~ for electron cyclotron waves in hot magnetoactive plasmas
of thermonuclear interest, containing electron populations with a wide range of
possible momentum anisotropies. An analytical model is presented for the
representation of electron distributions exhibiting flat suprathermal tails along the
external magnetic field and applied to the computation of the pertinent absorption
and emission coefficients
