Abstract:
The Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) established the prevalence of frailty in middle-aged and older community-dwelling Europeans using this to develop the SHARE Frailty Instrument. At its core the SHARE-FI utilizes a Discreet Factor Score (DFS) in order to determine the frailty index of an individual.
