Publication Date:
2016
abstract:
In the domain of Cultural Heritage there is a great deal of information and offering personalized information to a tourist is one of the most interesting challenges in promoting cultural heritage. Also, the modality through which the information is be provided have to be natural and attractive, in this manner the tourist is more involved. There are many ways by which you can provide an increase of fruition for a museum visit. Among these ways, the visit with augmented knowledge is a general paradigm in which you can model many types of interactions using different device. This paradigm provides an increase of knowledge with respect to what is perceived by a visitor in a certain context of use - the knowledge is transmitted through a multimodal modality (using various channels of perception) and use of multimedia resources (multimedia audio, video, images etc.). We call this paradigm fruition with augmented knowledge.
