The work reports about the archaeometrical and technological study conducted on the different kind of mortars present in the most important monuments and architectural structures in the archaeological area of Uthina (Oudhna - Northern Tunisia). A multidisciplinary study that covers petrographycal analysis of pastes aggregates and cement; chemical-physical properties of mortars; hydraulic properties and characteristics of reactive components.
