Abstract:
In this work we investigated how serum protein
adsorption on NP surfaces infl uences the cellular uptake
of NPs. We fi nd that surface hydrophobicity is a critical
factor for controlling serum albumin binding, which in turn
decreases the cellular uptake of AuNPs.
