Abstract:
Effect of gamma irradiation on molecular weight distribution and structural characteristics of unsaturated nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) NBR-8 (copolymer containing 8% acrylonitrile) was studied by sol-gel analysis combined with size exclusion chromatography (SEC) and IR spectroscopy. This approach was shown to give a good understanding of radiation-induced cross-linking and following processes in cross-linked polymers. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
