abstract:
This paper presents the results of the estimation of
the distribution of the current density in the heart muscle during
tDCS at 2 mA by computational methods applied to human
models of different age and sex and considering both intra- and
extra-cephalic electrode montages. Our results show that the
levels of current densities and current strengths are much lower
than the corresponding fibrillation thresholds values found in
literature
