abstract:
EryK is a bacterial cytochrome P450 that catalyzes the last hydroxylation occurring during the biosynthetic pathway of erythromycin A in Streptomyces erythraeus. We report the crystal structures of EryK in complex with two widely used azole inhibitors: ketoconazole and clotrimazole.
