Spatial variability in Posidonia oceanica meadows: selected plant features and associated borer polychaetes.

Selected plant features and borer polychaetes of two Posidonia oceanica meadows off the island of Ischia (Tyrrhenian Sea, Italy) are studied to understand their variability patterns at different spatial scales). Results showed significant differences for most of the plant variables examined between the two meadows, while borers showed higher variability inside each meadow at smaller spatial scale.
