Near-field focused planar microstrip arrays

Abstract:
Near-field focused (NFF) antennas can significantly improve wireless system performance with respect to conventional far-field focused antennas when the receiver/target is located in the antenna near-field region. In this paper, a survey on the most recent results on NFF planar arrays will be presented. © 2011 IEEE.
