Les volgarizzamenti des « Métamorphoses » ovidiennes : notes sur les traductions italiennes par Arrigo Simintendi et Giovanni Bonsignori

Two medieval Italian translations of the Metamorphoses are known to exist: one by the notary Arrigo Simintendi in the first half of the fourteenth century, and the translation-commentary by Giovanni Bonsignori (c. 1375). These two works propose two different "models" of the book and present two distinct translation strategies, which we will try to describe briefly.
