La digeribilità apparente delle foglie di lentisco (Pistacia lentiscus) negli ovini

Academic Article
Publication Date:
1988
abstract:
In order to determine the apparent digestibility of Pistacia lentiscus leaves, sheep are fed on 3 diets in which leaves replace 0%, 30%, 40% of a basal mix. Digestibility of Pistacia lentiscus leaves is determined by multiple regression analysis. The chemical composition, the digestibility coefficient (DC) and the coefficient of determination for the regression (R2) are shown to be: dry matter 45.87% (DC 27.9), R2 = .9984; Nx6.25 4.06% (DC 27.6), R2 = .9998; ether extract 2.13% (DC 32.9), R2= .9589; crude fiber 6.48% (DC 22.2), R2 = .9927; ash 2.54% (DC 9.0), R2 = .9990; N-free extract 30.67% (DC 27.8), R2 = .9985; organic matter 43.34% (DC 27.3), R2 = .9984; gross energy 8.910 MJ/kg; DE 2.245 MJ/kg (25.2 % of gross energy), R2 = .9985. In vitro digestibility of d.m. is 26.9%, of o.m. 23.6%.
