Paludi Sfinale e Gusmary due aree umide di rilevante interesse naturalistico nel Parco Nazionale del Gargano

The results of a phytosociological study on Palude Sfinale and Palude Gusmay, two small wetlands in the Gargano National Park, are presented. Several vegetation types have been characterized, belonging to the following classes: Phragmito-Magnocaricetea Klika in Klika & V. Novák 1941, Juncetea maritimi Br.-Bl. in Br.-Bl., Roussine & Nègre 1952, Saginetea maritimae Westhoff, Van Leeuwen & Adriani 1962, Sarcocornietea fruticosae Br.-Bl. & R. Tüxen ex A. & O. Bolòs 1950 em. O. Bolòs 1967, Thero-Suadetea Rivas-Martínez 1972, Molinio-Arrhenatheretea Tüxen 1937, Nerio-Tamaricetea Br.-Bl. & O. Bòlos 1958, Quercetea ilicis Br.-Bl. ex A. & O. Bòlos 1950. The relationships with the 92/43/EEC Directive are emphasized
