Cocciniglia farinosa della vite sotto controllo con spirotetramat. Triennio di prove condotte in Sardegna

In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the new incticide Spirotretamat against the vine mealybug infestations a 3-years spray trial was carried out in a vineyard located in Alghero (Sardinia, Italy). Spirotetramat showed better efficacy than the others insecticides tested and selective on natural enemies. To optimize the control of vine mealybug infestations an integrated approach is needed and the target of onsecticide intervention is crowlers of the second generation.
