Caratteristiche idrobiologiche del Golfo di S. Eufemia (Tirreno sud occidentale): estate 2006.

Hydrobiological characteristics of the Gulf of S.Eufemia were studies in 0-200 m layer. Thermohaline vertical structure showed the presence of typical Thyrrhenian water masses: 0-10 m TSW; 10-70 m AW; 70-200 TIW. Chlorophyll distribution appears quite independent from thermohaline properties of the water, but controlled by correct equilibrium among quantity of light and nutrients availability.
