Limit analysis of masonry domes

The peculiarity of using methods of graphical statics lies in its outstanding flexibility and in the related possibility of easly modelling a wide variety of structural shapes. These methods are furthermore valid whenever applied to the analysis of existing masonry structures. This paper discusses an analytical interpretation concerning the graphical statica analysis ofo axial-symmetrical masonry domes described by M. Lévy.
