BOLAM model

An updated (at 2006) version of the BOLAM meteorological model has been set up and distributed to different national and international users (including the Hydrometeorological Institute of Vietnam). This version of the ISAC hydrostatic model contains several upgrades and improvements in various dynamical and physical aspects (hybrid coordinates; soil models; definition of orography, soil and vegetation; turbulence parameterization; convective parameterization; radiation).
