The integration of geomatic data in the Italian Geological Map: an example in South of Sardinia.

The main goal of this work is the collection and cataloguing of multidisciplinary information related to geological outcrops. Such information are structured in a geodatabase in order to perform a data fusion of different data as geomatic, geothecnic and geostructural, aiming to multidisciplinary characterization of these sites. The fusion of all these new layers improves the geological map in terms of the information and dissemination to the scientists, professionals and public.
