Remote sensing for the evolution of the Venice littoral since 1950s.

The present study is aimed at analysing the impact of sea-level rise on the Venice littoral, a low-lying coastal stretch of the Northern Adriatic Sea (Italy) particularly sensitive to sea-level changes, tides, and storm surges and, consequently, prone to be eroded and exposed to serious risk of flooding.
