abstract:
The software constitutes the Communication Layer of the RUBICON system and it enables the interaction of the neural networks installed on the sensors of a WSN, it allows accessing the raw data gathered by the sensors, and it allows sending control messages and/or commands to the devices of the network, sensor nodes, robots or PCs. The Communication Layer is implemented both in nesC, for sensors nodes, and in Java, for robots and PCs, and it makes transparent to the application the underlying hardware layer used for communications.
