High molecular weight polyacetylenes from Petrosia ficiformis, further structural analysis and biological activity

The structures of the high molecular weight polyacetylenes from Petrosia ficiformis were investigated further. Moreover, their biological activity was examined for the first time and inhibition of sea urchin egg development as well as potent cytotoxic activity were observed.
