Caratterizzazione del viroma associato a funghi marini isolati da Posidonia Oceanica

"For the first time we identified the genome of 12 mycoviruses associated to marine fungi, isolated from different districts of Posidonia oceanica. With NGS technique we obtained the whole nucleotide sequences. We identified viruses belonging to some already established and new phylogenetic clades. Than we tried to understand their biological role curing original isolates and comparing them with the virus-infected isogenic ones. We analyzed growth and production of secondary metabolites on several media."
