abstract:
The present paper offers a contribution to the study of Messapian cult places' archeology. It presents votives, in particular terracottas, stored in "Ugo Granafei" Archaeological Museum in Mesagne. These objects have been found accidentally on the site of Casino Guardiano in the territory of today Mesagne, where the three ancient centers of Mesagne, Muro Maurizio and Muro Tenente were located. They point to two different phases of site occupation.
