Abstract:
a robotic system for additive manufacturing (3d printing with plastic) of large objects composed by:
- an ABB IRB 2600 robot with IRC5 controller
- a GIMAC Extruder and extrusion controller
- ITIA CAD/CAM software
- laser monitoring and Devicenet communication system
ABB ROBOT 3D-GIANT-PRINTER is the result of the integration of the above elements.
