abstract:
Nanotechnologies applied to food present great opportunities to address issues such as better quality and more nutritious food, reduction of negative environmental impacts, increased food safety and reduced waste as well as greater diversity. However challenges such as safety issues, specific regulation and policies, and public perception need to be addressed.
