The paper describes the most important features of the "network agreement". In Italy it is ruled for the first time in 2009 in order to develop the innovation and competitiveness especially among small and medium sized enterprises, which are suffering more of others the economic crisis. The paper highlights the specific provision of ad hoc rules for the dissemination of this type of contract in the agricultural sector, also referring to Common agricultural policy of European Union for the period 2014-2020.
