Air quality zones in Italy

The National decree number 155 of 2010 sets precise rules for establishing air quality zones over the territory of the Country, introducing some changes to the previous methodology. The paper describes the process of defininig and classifying zones and agglomerations carried out by local authorities in the past years and underlines which are the main differences due to the implementation of the new methodology.
