Hetero-structurized gamma-Fe(2)O(3)-In(2)O(3) nanocomposites obtained by the sol-gel method

Sol-gel technology was used to fabricate heterogeneous Fe(2)O(3)-In(2)O(3) nanocomposite consisting of alpha-Fe(2-x)In(x)O(3) solid solution and two modifications of gamma-Fe(2)O(3) - cubic (C-gamma-Fe(2)O(3)) and tetragonal (Q-gamma-Fe(2)O(3)). The material is shown to be active in adsorption and catalytic processes and promising for sensorics
