Abstract:
Sixteen seasonal trawl surveys were carried out in the Italian area of the Sicilian Channel between 1985 and 1992. The age, growth, sexual maturity and distribution of Raja clavata were studied for both sexes. In addition the seasonal and annual average catches per hour were calculated.
