Analisi energetica della provincia di Ragusa/Energy analysis of the province of Ragusa (Sicily)

The results of the so-called 'Energy Reading or Measurement of the Territory of the Ragusa Province' are summarized. This is the first stage of a work having as a final aim the energy planning of this territory. Energy measurements allow the identification of the territory considered and the formulation of an energy balance per consumption sector and per energy source. In the article information is given on energy consumption and the methodology which has been used for data reconstruction and the validation of the various analyzed samples is described. Possible dimensionless parameters have been singled out (energy per inhabitant, percentage of consumption) and the provincial data have been compared with regional and national data, in order to point out the sectors where it is possible to intervene to provide a more rational use of energy.
