UPS study of M-S sigma-bonding energy and spiroconjugation effects

UV photoelectron spectroscopy of tetrathiometallaspiranes yelds quantitative characterization of several structural details. Interpretation of the spectra and Ionization Energies are obtained by a comparison of experimantal data with semi-empirical calculations (EHT and MNDO).
