Tecnologia Laser scanner :il rilievo di alcune Chiese rupestri in Puglia

The phenomenon of Churches in caves developed in Apulia between the X and the XII century. Up to now there hasn't been a survey of all the rupestrian settlements. Therefore, in view of concrete protection initiatives, it is desirable at least to realize a virtual wardship. ITC contribution consisted in the planning and execution of survay operations via laser scanner and the digital restitution of 3D models of five rupestrian Churches located in the region.
