Triangular Thought and the City. The Case of the "Quartiere Avvocata / Quartiere dell'Arte". A project aimed at the regeneration of urban space must necessarily be defined in full awareness of the inextricable connection that binds a place to the sense of identity that emanates from it: the body of the city is in fact constantly crossed by networks of human relationships. The task is to develop the ability to build not walls between places of the city but membranes between places in dialogue with one another. The creation of "District Avvocata / Quartiere dell'Arte" seems to be going in the direction mentioned above: our intention is to propose a systematic reflection on this project, supported by qualitative analysis of empirical evidence, by placing it within the broader context of urban regeneration. We believe that this can be a fruitful paradigmatic example of regeneration of urban space and a potential turning point in ways of understanding and living the city.
