The research was focused on analysing, through experimental measurements in situ, the characteristics of sound insulation and the parameters that affect the protection against noise in the buildings. The main goal was to acquire technical and metrological knowledge usable, in particular, for arranging criteria and parameters functional for the regional legislation of the sector.
