This paper describe the first results of a study, still under way, aimed at monitoring developments and changes in the use of Neurogenetics and Neuroscience within the system of justice in Italy. For this purpose, we have hired an interdisciplinary research perspective born of the union between law sociology and legal informatics. Starting from the analysis conducted on a collection of judicial pronunciations of Italian Courts of the last years, the goal was to monitoring developments and changes concerning the national situation in respect of employment of neuroscientific and behavioral genetics evidence. This first step of investigation is a methodological attempt for interaction between experts and the machine to provide the researcher of domain a first object domain study, further modeled and represented crossing quantitative data automatically extracted from texts through Information Extraction analysis tools. The use of textual processing tools has been designed to detect and extracted, through a study of exploratory and comparative, information elements and case law and legislative referrals from the decisions of the relevant decisions for this first phase of the reconstruction in question.
