Sintesi delle ricerche sulle risorse demersali dello Stretto di Sicilia (Mediterraneo centrale) negli anni 1985-1997 svolte nell'ambito della Legge 41/82

an account id given of the experimental bottom trawl-surveys carried out in the Strait of Sicily sice May 1985, within the frame of Italian Fisheries Plans (law 41/82). An overall of 22 surveys were realised in different seasons resulting in more than 1000 day light one hour lasting hauls and a wide valuable data base. Trends in catch per unit of effort (kg/h) and population parameters indicate a full exploitation or an overexploitation condition for most part of the groundfish resources investigated.
