Acylsilane-mediated nucleophilic acylation of ?,?-unsaturated carbonyl derivatives

2-Cycloalkenones were treated with RCOSiMe3 (R = alkyl, Ph, 2-furyl) and Bu4NCN (catalyst) to give the resp. 3-acylcycloalkanones. Similarly, CH2:CHCOMe and R1COSiMe3 (R1 = Ph, alkyl) gave R1COCH2CH2COMe.
