Abstract:
Augmented reality techniques have recently found many applications in the field of cultural heritage. This work describes an example of application in Pinocchio Park (Collodi, Italy). Several recognition problems arise during the on-site test, due to unstable light conditions. The authors propose a solution based on a multi-blocks image target segmentation and a dedicated add-on for the Unity3D game engine.
