L'area lagunare di Oliveri-Tindari: sue variazioni morfologiche recenti ed evoluzione dei popolamenti a molluschi

The Oliveri-Tindari Area is an environment characterized by a remarkable dynamic trend. In the present note the main phases of its morphological evolution from 1938 to 1985 are described; and the variations occurred in the chemical characteristics and in the benthic populations, due to alternate phases of isolation of the basins from the sea are illustrated. It is also described the present composition and structure of the molluscs populations.
