Abstract:
A cheap, safe, and widely functional-group-tolerant synthetic protocol to an important class of photoinitiators, bis(acyl)phosphine oxides (BAPOs), has been disclosed, together with examples of application to stain-proof fabrics and photoactive polymeric films.
